Overall it seems nice.
The tones and colors are used well but I barely noticed the hand underneath without zooming in. It's a bit too dark for having, y'know, fire right there. Also, if it is a flaming ball I would assume their would be large licks of flames going up rather than small wispy flames. Other than that, the other guy took the words out of my mouth. A few more colors would be nice such as reds/blues, maybe depending on how hot you want it to come off as, some whites. The balance of the colors seems to lead more towards too much orange. Fire has mostly orange hues, which I can assume is why you had mostly orange in this, but also has other colors where the fire originates. White=hottest (hence stars) blue= 2nd hottest, and then all the other colors you can see in almost any regular fire like a lighter/candle/fireplace. What I can suggest? Stare at a fireplace/bonfire and just watch how the flames act at different colors/heat/places to make a more realistic feel. I myself enjoy bonfires and watching the flames which is probably why I picked up on that. ^^ But I still love the way you pull these off and think you should try and get these out there for a career. You pay more attention to small detail than most paid photo shoppers.
